Old Lion, silverpoint. 
Silverpoint is a centuries old method of drawing, used before graphite was discovered and pencils were invented.  A silver stylus is used to draw on a specially prepared ground, leaving a line of  the pure metal. Over time it gently tarnishes and mellows.
